Linzi Stoppard Launches FUSE Violin Band New Single
To launch FUSE violin band’s new single Linzi Stoppard became the real Fiddler On The Roof during London’s Fashion Week when she was photographed on the roof of Selfridges in the heart of London’s West End.
The acclaimed virtuoso violinist looked stunning as she took London by storm posing with a view of Mayfair’s rooftops behind her for a couture photo shoot as part of the release of her band FUSE’s new single Fused Adagio.
Paying homage to one of the most popular composers of the 20th century, Samuel Barber, FUSE have recorded and arranged a new and fresh adaptation of the emotive classical track, Adagio For Strings.
The production is a warm concoction of familiar melodic string lines and bold beats to bring the track to a climatic crescendo.
Electric Violinist Linzi Stoppard’s work with FUSE has cemented her status as one of the world’s most coveted electric violinists, proving the instrument can be just as versatile, powerful and dynamic as the electric guitar and creating radical innovations to reinterpret tracks and render melodies that were originally vocals.
Their unique brand of entertainment has a truly global appeal, seeing FUSE perform at prestigious events everywhere from Moscow, Cannes, Monaco, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Calgary, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Dubai, Delhi, Hong Kong and Istanbul.
With her raven hair and striking beauty, it’s no surprise that Linzi has also become a darling of the fashion world.
After being signed as a teenager, she has been represented on the Specials Models Boards at Premiere Models and Models 1, modelling for designers including Bruce Oldfield and even straddling a horse to launch Fashion For The Brave in Jasper Conran’s iconic, Union Jack flag dress at Household Cavalry.
Never missing an opportunity to add some bling to the violin world Linzi and FUSE recent collaborated with British jeweler Theo Fennell to create the world’s first-ever 24-carat golden violins worth over $2m each. Adorned with Theo’s signature jewel encrusted skull in the scroll of each instrument.
Linzi and Ben are also ambassadors for The Prince’s Trust and she also lends her support to a host of worthy charities, like The Stroke Association, Macmillan and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
And with exciting, new announcements in the pipeline, the world-conquering string siren is gearing up to add many more strings to her bow.
